CLOSING DATE: Open until filledANNUAL SALARY: $41,066PLEASE APPLY AT: JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Accounting Technician makes sure the finances of the IT department are processed correctly and in a timely manner, while providing minimal technical support.Accounts Payable - receive, audit, and process invoices from vendors. Classify and document expenditures according to established budget. Prepare and process transfer and billing of IT funds to other departments.Inventory Handling - receive, audit, and label ordered inventory items. Record inventory correctly on deployments. Maintain up-to-date inventory of computer gear throughout the county.Procurement Activities - consult with vendors to maintain/re-order office supplies and facility supplies for the IT Department.Purchasing - verify and authorize approval of staff purchase card statement transactions for account numbers and property supporting documentation utilizing commercial card expense through the county's financial institution. Assist cardholders with any problems they may have with their cards, statements, or online reporting systems.Staff Services - maintain and audit staff scheduling of on-call and coverage. Be a part of reception duties for answering the main Service Desk phone. Provide very basic troubleshooting of issues before escalating issues to the appropriate IT team.
