electrical support for Capital and R& M ProjectsInvestigate
projects to understand the scope, working closely with Project
Managers or Equipment Acquisition/DesignersEstimate costs for
electrical portions of projects for budgeting purposesWork with
suppliers to specify and select electrical components, design
electrical controls, and create drawings and bills of
materialsUnderstand the scope of Machine Control Design
projectsWork closely with suppliers to research and specify
electrical componentsAssist the Equipment Acquisition/Designer with
machine concepts to determine proper control schemes for
functionality, flexibility and costDesign control systems, use
drawings to detail control panels, electrical schematics and
control diagramsDevelop bills of materials and assemble work order
packages to be used by maintenance and electrical staffAssist with
PLC Programming to develop the sequence of operation for
equipmentDevelop and write functional program code to control
equipmentWrite equipment description of operation for operator's
manualsAttend and actively participate in department meetings,
trainings, or eventsProvide technical support of electrical
controls and programming related issuesKeep project status updated
in our maintenance management softwareParticipate in miscellaneous
project teamsImplement data transferring to seamlessly transfer
information electronically from production control software to
production equipment to eliminate errorsCollect, log, and report
any equipment production performance errors or downtime for the
measurement of the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)You're a
good fit if you haveBachelor of Science degree in Electrical
Engineering or equivalent work experience1-3 years of electrical
controls design/acquisition experience1-3 years of PLC programming
