Valley City, ND as a Manufacturing Engineer!Location: Valley City,
NDDuration -of Role: - 2+ yearsPay: -$45.50 - -$48.75 /
hourlyHours: 1st shift, (6AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Thursday). OT as
required Friday and SaturdayCandidates must be able to start their
assignment within 3 weeks of accepting the offer.DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides support and basic trouble
shooting for current operations. Investigates, gathers and analyze
data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks.Establishes
routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation,
quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current
operations and/or new parts or programs of limited scope.Identifies
and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic
improvement ideas of limited scope.Works with electronic tools to
perform engineering functions.Develops and implements plans of
limited scope to support lean manufacturing through the Deere
Production System. Designs operations layouts to improve material
flow and material presentation.Participates in team studies related
to capacity, energy, productivity and efficiency.Implements new
manufacturing processes and technology.Modifies existing
performance pay plans; assists in development of baseline data for
new wage performance pay plans.REQUIRED:
Degree in related field or equivalent
work experienceMechanical aptitudeElectrical troubleshooting
experienceHands on factory experience inspecting parts, reading
prints, and troubleshooting quality related issuesDESIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
(Industrial, Ag, Mechanical, Manufacturing)CREO, AutoCAD
experienceSAP experience Fixture design experiencePLC
experienceAdditional notes:PPE Requirements: Metatarsal Foot
Protection (employee to provide). PPE requires Metatarsal Foot
Protection, as well as long pants (jeans or work pants). All
additional PPE will be provided on-site.Physical Requirements:
Employee will be required to travel between office area and
manufacturing floor multiple times per day. This is a hybrid role
of computer/office work combined with direct shop floor
