Actalent is a global leader in engineering services and talent solutions. Actalent is currently hiring a Power Electronics Engineer to support our highway initiatives in Fargo, ND.
Responsibilities:

• 
  
• 
  Create and analyzes technical requirements to determine the best technical solution.
  
  
• 
  Execute microprocessor-based embedded electronic designs
  
  
• 
  Adapt electronic circuitry to vehicle and/or fixed equipment applications
  
  
• 
  Execute detailed worst-case analog and digital circuit analysis, simulation, integration and verification
  
  
• 
  Compile necessary information to document the design solution.
  
  
• 
  Create test or analysis plan for on-site product verification and validation
  
  
• 
  Provide on-site technical support to manufacturing, quality and supply management organizations
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Minimum B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering program
    
    
  • 
    Position requiring 3-5 years' experience in the following areas:
    
    
  • 
    Electronic circuit design.
    
    
  • 
    Technical comprehension of microprocessor-based embedded electronic, software, and mechanical packaging designs and requirements.
    
    
  • 
    Technical comprehension of testing, manufacturing, quality control, and marketing requirements.
    
    
  • 
    Adapting electronic circuitry to vehicle and/or fixed equipment applications.
    
    
  • 
    Performing complex engineering work requiring application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out engineering tasks.
    
    
  • 
    Directing the work of engineers, students, or technicians.
    
    
  • 
    Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
