Job Description:
At Associated Environmental Systems (AES), we are expanding our
team to include a skilled Geotechnical Engineer who will contribute
to innovating and improving our environmental test chambers that
simulate earth materials under various conditions. As a core member
of our engineering team, you will apply your knowledge of soil
mechanics and project management to ensure our products meet high
standards of quality and operational safety. This role involves
applying practical and analytical techniques to predict geological
effects on our products and advising on durable engineering
solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a pioneering
technology company committed to environmental and engineering
excellence, developing products that address the increasing demands
of environmental testing and simulation. Conduct site
investigations and analyze soil, rock, groundwater, and other earth
materials to determine their characteristics and risks. Advise on
the most suitable geotechnical engineering methods and materials
for construction projects. Plan and execute detailed field
investigations using a variety of collection methods and equipment.
Design and implement environmental simulations that accurately
mimic geological conditions. Collaborate with other engineers and
project managers to integrate geotechnical findings into overall
product designs. Prepare reports and presentations that document
the feasibility, risks, and potentials of product designs under
varying environmental conditions. Monitor geotechnical instruments
and maintain accurate data and records for ongoing projects. Strong
proficiency in using geotechnical engineering software such as
GeoStudio, Plaxis, or AutoCAD. Ability to analyze and interpret
geological data from tests and reports. Excellent problem-solving
skills and practical application of engineering science. Strong
understanding of industry standards and environmental regulations.
Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
Experience with project management and supervision of technical
staff. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly
preferred. Certified as a GeoTechnical Specialist (CGeol) or a
similar certification is advantageous.
