Summary:The Development team at Bell Bank creates and supports
applications critical to the organization using a variety of
technologies. As a member of that team, the expectations of the
Program Manager are a dual focus as a business advocate and being
heavily involved in development activities. The ability to be the
driver of feature definition and technical solutions, directing the
priority of large efforts, while coordinating with the business and
development teams. A focus is maximizing the value delivered by the
team and ensuring the work is aligned with the needs of the
business. The most important aspects of this role are collaborating
and coordinating across the organization, managing and prioritizing
the work and supporting the teams.Primary Duties:
- Develop, guide and communicate vision and roadmaps of assigned
programs, supporting the development team to continuously deliver
the highest-value output.
- Manage and prioritize team backlogs as a representative of the
business within project management activities and the software
development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the business and development teams to
understand customer needs, identify features and proposed
solutions.
- Define requirements and create user stories, establish
acceptance criteria, and report defects to support continuous value
flow.
- Connect with customers, stakeholders, compliance, and vendors
as a liaison between the business and technical teams.
- Coordinate and participate in planning, reviews, demos and
feedback sessions, acceptance testing, solution adoption, training,
and support.
- Ongoing support of production while coordinating with the
business and team leads and architects on future development
activities.
- Continue to expand working knowledge of the domain, help
improve processes and tools, and be continuously improving.
- Know, understand, and live the company values and bottom
line.
- Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank
policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct
policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal
laws and regulations.
- All employees are responsible for information security,
including compliance with policies and standards which protect
sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.Job Skills Required:
- Experience in software product development and integrations,
project management methodologies and/or agile practices.
- Strong knowledge of bank operations, financial technology
and/or information technology domains.
- Familiarity with requirements gathering, planning,
prioritization and scope management, issue tracking, testing and
release activities.
- Experience with software development lifecycles and continuous
integration/continuous delivery workflows.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills with the
ability to work in a team environment.
- B.S. in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or
related education and/or +7 years experience desiredLocation:
