AE2S is primarily responsible for managing a comprehensive public outreach program and the acquisition of $500 Million in property rights necessary for the Project. In addition, AE2S provides strategic support for Project leadership and support for overall program direction and management.Our team is in need of a motivated Assistant Project Manager to assist with managing the acquisition of property rights and mitigation of impacted properties for the FM Area Diversion Project.--ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with AE2S team members to assist in managing the acquisition of property rights for the FM Area Diversion Project.Monitor, review, and update the property rights acquisition and mitigation plan for the Project to document the policies, procedures, and processes for acquisition of property rights and property mitigation for the Project and look for ways to efficiently and cost effectively improve or streamline processes.Work collaboratively to provide guidance on issues that affect property management, acquisitions, appraisals, negotiations, relocations, or title transfers. These may include early acquisitions, opportunistic acquisitions, temporary easements, and management and disposition of properties.Assist in the development of property mitigation programs, including: A supplemental crop loss program for mitigation of impacts to farmland caused by summer operation of the Project;--A post-operation private lands clean-up plan;--A post-operation public lands repair and clean-up plan;--Alternative mitigation options, other than full acquisition and removal, for residential and non-residential structures in the upstream mitigation area.Manage the services of independent appraisal services firms, which are hired by our Client to establish the value of property rights needed for the Project.Manage, monitor and measure the performance of third-party land acquisition firms, which are retained by our Client to: (a) obtain rights of entry (ROE), (b) communicate and negotiate with property owners, (c) acquire property rights for the Project, and (d) establish relocation benefits for displaced persons.Help coordinate activity and communication between appraisal service firms and land acquisition firms to achieve Project schedule milestones.Assist in managing and monitoring property rights acquisition data to track acquisition status and identify acquisition risks.Assist in the development of monthly progress reports for the property acquisitions program, including cost, schedule, and performance reporting.Prepare for and attend regular client board meetings to report on progress and activities, and provide or present informational materials.Assist in the coordination with legal counsel, as necessary to address legal questions related to the property acquisition program.Assist in development and implementation of public outreach, involvement, and education related to property acquisition and mitigation.Represent AE2S in a highly professional and respectful manner at all times.--Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Administration, Management, or related fields such as Natural Resources Management, Real Estate Studies, Geography.2+ years of proven experience working on public infrastructure projects that require acquisition of property rights.Excellent time management and organizational skills with proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficient using technology, web-based computer software systems, and MS Office programs.Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.Proven written and verbal communication skills.Ability to summarize complex information into key metrics that aid in decision making.Ability to adapt and work with a cross-function team and numerous Client contacts that are selected by our Client.--Preferred QualificationsExperience with water resources projects and floodplain management.Self-starter with ability to take initiative and successfully work independently.Ability to research and solve problems.Direct experience with property acquisitions and basic understanding of property acquisition processes.Understand of Section, Range, and Township terminology.Financial experience dealing with budgets and tax exchanges.Experience with development and construction of infrastructure projects.--AE2S is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer
