Expert application user who can troubleshoot problems, understand
program integrations, and communicate solutions in a concise
manner. Gathers, analyzes, designs, develops, modifies, tests,
implements, evaluates, and maintains information technologies that
collect data to support clinical needs. Expert application user
with the ability to troubleshoot problems, understand program
integrations, and communicate solutions. Utilizes data to support
decision making. Provides identification of outcomes. Develops
plans for achieving identified outcomes. Assists and documents
testing, training, activation and implementation of the plan.
Provides for outcome measurement and evaluation. Communicates
project progress and outcomes to appropriate health system
departments and personnel. High level of customer service while
promoting and participating in the team approach necessary.
Partners with Clinical Material Specialists, Operating Room
Leaders, and Sterile Processing Leaders to ensure business
requirements are met.
Acts as a liaison to assigned leaders and departments as well as
providers in order to facilitate optimal use of applications. Has
advanced computer and application knowledge, and is willing to
learn in a computer-based environment. Holds team members
accountable for configuration standards. Delegates project tasks
and project life cycle support to team members. Mentors team
members. Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Excellent interpersonal, and customer service skills, as well as
strong presentation techniques required. Project management,
prioritization, strong communication and problem solving skills are
needed on a daily basis. Skillful at managing change. Experience
with Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of existing Service Level
Agreements and ensure compliance with standards. On-call, after
normal business hours and rotating weekends may be required.
Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Seven years of relevant experience in a large healthcare facility
Clinical licensure is not required, however within the laboratory
departments: Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory
Scientist (MLS), or Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)
