New Grad Applicants Dialysis allows a nurse the opportunity to
build relationships with the patient. Patient to nursing ratio is
3:1. Warm and welcoming environment where working as a team is
strongly encouraged to provide excellent quality care to the
patient. Twelve week orientation along with theory orientation to
help you become successful in the role of a dialysis nurse.
Certification offered after required hours worked reimbursed by
Sanford. No Sundays. No overnights. Thanksgiving and Christmas unit

Responsibilities Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment,
education, triage and various other nursing interventions
Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan,
implement and evaluate care Empathetically cares for patients
during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance,
diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care
Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise
Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program
required, including, but not limited to, American Association of
Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education
in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for
Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor s Degree in
nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with
the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is
occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse
Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains
required department specific competencies and certifications.
