Details Sign-on bonus available! The 3 East Unit is a 20 bed unit
designed to care for all patient types with a focus infectious
disease patients. This unit offers the opportunity for both new and
experienced nurses to further their skills and understanding of
medical care while being able to observe and interact with critical
care patients and nurses. This unit offers a very cohesive team.
You will work side by side other nurses and doctors to provide a
comprehensive approach to care for this patient population. Due to
the nature of this department, immaculate steps are taken for staff
safety with incredible success. This is the perfect opportunity to
fine tune your med/surg skills in this area and set yourself up for
a great nursing future. Job Summary We re looking for positive,
compassionate, hardworking registered nurses (RN) who can provide
the high-quality care patients and families have come to expect

ResponsibilitiesPlans and coordinates patient care, assessment,
education, triage and various other nursing
interventionsCollaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to
plan, implement and evaluate careEmpathetically cares for patients
during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance,
diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of
careDemonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing
expertiseQualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program
required, including, but not limited to, American Association of
Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education
in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for
Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor s Degree in
nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with
the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is
occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse
Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains
required department specific competencies and certifications.
