Overview
Sys/Div/Mkt/Local Supervisor - Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline OR 3 years' experience in the discipline OR Master's Degree and no experience Registration by the State of North Dakota Board of Nursing Certification for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS), and Certification for Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Minimum of three (3) years of RN experience and one (1) year of leadership experience Established leadership skills Knowledge of coaching and mentoring best practices Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to influence and motivate others in order to achieve targets within a determined time period Ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to use the internet for research and communication Must pass color blindness test Previous supervisory experience in Critical Access Hospital preferred
Responsibilities
The RN - Supervisor directs and supervises nursing staff under the guidance of department managers in their absence. Promotes and maintains continuity of care for patients and is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all care during assigned shift. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.
