Urology care to our patients.

Job Summary
RN: Answers patient inquiries over the telephone, assessing the
severity of the patient's symptoms and medical needs according to
triage algorithms.
LPN: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the
implementation and evaluation of patient care, under the
supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or
physician. RN: Guides the patient to the appropriate level of care;
schedules patient appointments over the phone with appropriate
healthcare providers/facilities/physicians. Documents information
provided to patients during triage in health record systems;
records patients health conditions for follow-up patient care.
Maintains and develops triage protocols; ensures patients'
healthcare information is updated on time. Role does answer
inquiries through multiple variations of technology, depending on
department. Educate patients based on calls that come in.
LPN: Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients. Documents
a thorough medical history from patient. Contributes to the
assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as
ordered. Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as
needed. Counseling patients and family members, under the direction
of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans. The LPN
demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of
nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and
population specific standards as designated in their assigned
clinical setting.
Qualifications
RN: Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred,
including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of
Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing
(ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing
Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor s Degree in nursing
preferred.
One year of healthcare experience preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of
Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess
multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
Nurses performing nursing practice over the telephone require
licensure in the states where the patients being served reside.
Within first 30 days of employment, all requirements to obtain
license needed for role is completed. Obtains and subsequently
maintains required department specific competencies and
certifications. Obtains and subsequently maintains required
department specific competencies and certifications.
LPN: Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a
Licensed Practical Nurse.
If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is
required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN
program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of
an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of
Nursing.
Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state
licensure privileges. Obtains and subsequently maintains required
department specific competencies and certifications.
