Facility: Sanford Med Ctr Fargo Location: Fargo, ND Address: rd Ave S, Fargo, ND 58104, USA Shift: 12 Hours - Rotating Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $24.00 - $33.00 Pay Info: $7,500 sign-on bonus for a 2-year work commitment, available for eligible applicants! Non-certified techs will start at $24/hour, certified techs will start at $25.50/hour and increase based on years of applicable work experience. Department Details The Family Birth Center specializes in operations such as C-sections, hysterectomies, D&C's, cerclage placement and removal, and assisting with vaginal deliveries. Schedule: 3-12 hour shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, starting at 6:30am or 6:30pm. You will typically work together with another surg tech during your shift as our goal is to staff 2 on each shift every day. One surg tech acts as the scrub tech and the other surg tech 1st assists. As you gain experience, you have the opportunity to advance your skills on the unit as the first assist with the provider. Job Summary Surgical technologist are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients. Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at the time employment begins. National certification preferred, but not required.
