*Job Title:* Occupational Therapist 13 Week Contract*Location:* Ellendale/LaMoure, ND*Company:* Big Stone StaffingBig Stone Staffing travelers have the opportunity to work in multiple settings including long term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, outpatient, and home health. We offer 13-week travel contracts and provide assistance to find housing, navigating licensure for each state, and being the liaison between you and the facility. We look forward to finding the right opportunity for you in your life.*Overview:** *Setting*: SNF* *Pay Package: *Starting at$2,000 per week* *Guarantee:* 40-hour weekly guarantee* *Schedule:* Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm No weekends, holidays or call* *Start Date:* ASAP* *Length*: 13 weeks*Responsibilities:** Provide supervision for Occupational Therapist Assistants and/or Therapy Aides as per state and federal laws and/or regulations* Assessing the patients physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan* Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers* Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient* Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment* Helping children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances* Assisting patients exercise for pain relief* Reviewing the patients progress and adapting the treatment accordingly* Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls*Qualifications:** CPR Certification (Preferred)* Occupational Therapist License (Preferred)* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Experience in skilled nursing and/or outpatient settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.*Benefits:** Health, Dental, Life, Short-Term Disability, and Vision insurance options* 401k with employer contribution* 6 paid holidaysExtensive Professional Development program including:* Unlimited CE courses through MedBridge* Residency programs through Evidence in Motion with employer contribution* Financial assistance for specialty certification* Mentorship program to support you no matter where you are*Why Work with Us? *Big Stone Staffing is a division of Big Stone Therapies, Inc. together we can bring top notch therapy services to rural communities.
