they call home. We are focused on caring for patients recovering
from injuries, living with a chronic illness, and other medical
needs. Sign On Bonus Available The person serving in the position
of Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating and
treating disabilities, injuries and disease using a range of manual
therapy, modalities and exercises as well as providing education
and consulting services. The Occupational Therapist complies with
all regulatory, professional, ethical, quality improvement and
facility standards, performs charting and patient progress notes as
well as supervision, training and assistance to department
personnel. The Occupational Therapist serves in a multidisciplinary
capacity providing services to a wide variety of populations which
may include pediatric, medical/surgical, orthopedics, outpatient.
Homecare services are also provided and may increase travel
frequency. Essential Key Job Responsibilities 1. Patient care
including evaluation and treatment of patients referred by
providers 2. Provides appropriate supervision for Occupational
Therapist Assistants and support personnel 3. Completes
documentation related to patient care in a timely manner 4.
Participates in and provides educational in-services for staff and
providers 5. Collaborates with healthcare team and provides
professional recommendations regarding patient care 6. Participates
in patient related care coordination activities (e.g. care
conferences, etc.) 7. Positive promotion of department and
profession within hospital/clinic as well as community Job
Requirements Requirements Possesses a degree from a baccalaureate,
Masters or Doctorate program in occupational therapy approved by an
accredited organization Licensed to practice as an Occupational
Therapist within the State of ND Two years of appropriate
experience as an occupational therapist Possesses and maintains
current CPR certification Current ND Driver’s license Preferred
