working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Fargo,
North Dakota, 58104! Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse Profession:
RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care
Unit) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Day/Night Rotate Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Active RN License (ND and
Compact) Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: 2 years of experience
Active BLS required - must be from the American Heart Association
NRP certification required Willingness to float to PICU and PEDS
Experience with EPIC is highly preferred Description: Deliver
nursing care to neonates. Assess, diagnose, establish a care plan
with outcome criteria, intervene, evaluate, and chart. Assist with
procedures that include intubation, spinal taps, PICC line
placement, IV starts, and admissions. Utilize equipment such as
conventional ventilators, high-frequency ventilators, nitric oxide,
cool cap, MedFusion pumps, and Smart pumps. Work with Epic charting
and MAK for medications. Perform neonatal assessments and care for
IVs, umbilical lines, CPAP, nasal cannula, oral and IV medications,
OG and NG feedings, and G-tubes. Embrace training on Epic and spend
time with a buddy to learn unit norms. Nurse to patient ratio is
1:1 to 1:2 for critical and intermediate infants, and 3:1 for
infants who are growing and feeding. Clinicians must badge in and
out and wear role-specific child-friendly scrubs. Candidates should
have not worked previously for a specific employer within six
