Job Description:
Good Samaritan Health Center is actively seeking a
compassionate, dedicated, and visionary Director of Nursing to lead
our nursing team in providing exceptional care tailored to the
needs of underserved communities. As a key pillar in our
organization, the Director of Nursing will be accountable for the
overall management of nursing operations, ensuring that our
commitment to holistic health and wellness outcomes is seamlessly
integrated into all aspects of nursing care. This role involves
strategic planning, management of nursing staff, oversight of
patient care, budgeting, and maintaining compliance with healthcare
regulations. Lead and direct all nursing and clinical staff to
ensure high-quality patient care in alignment with our mission.
Develop and implement strategic nursing policies and procedures to
enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction. Oversee
the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff,
fostering a supportive and professional environment. Monitor and
ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and
accreditation requirements. Manage the department’s budget,
allocating resources effectively to ensure optimal operation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to streamline
care delivery and enhance patient outcomes. Implement new clinical
protocols and technologies to address the specific health needs of
our community. Proven leadership and organizational skills Strong
communication and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of health
care policies and regulations Ability to implement clinical and
administrative guidelines Competency in budget management and
resource allocation Empathy and commitment to community health

401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Certification in nursing administration (NE-BC or similar) is
preferred
