32.00 Salary Range: $32.00 - $48.00 Department Details The Cardiac
Cath Lab has 8 angio suites at the new medical center specializing
in cardiac cath, vascular, neurovascular (stroke) and structural
heart procedures, as well as electrophysiology. Procedures
performed in the cath lab include the following: left and right
heart catheterizations along with percutaneous intervention as
necessary, intracoronary ultrasound, rotational atherectomy,
balloon pump insertion, Impella insertion, valvuloplasty, left
atrial appendage closure, catheter-directed thrombolysis for
pulmonary embolization, structural procedures (TAVI/TAVR),
neurovascular cerebral angiograms, stroke treatment, carotid
stenting, treatment of cerebral aneurysms with coiling and pipeline
interventions, peripheral and renal angiograms with intervention as
necessary, Watchmen, CardioMEMs, and Electrophysiology (cardiac
devices, ablations, PVI’s, laser lead extractions). RNs in the Cath
Lab have the opportunity to train in different specialties
including electrophysiology, stroke and interventional radiology.
Schedule: Primary hours fall Monday-Friday 0700-1730 with call
requirements. *Sign on bonus available for eligible candidates Job

Responsibilities * Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment,
education, triage and various other nursing interventions *
Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan,
implement and evaluate care * Empathetically cares for patients
during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance,
diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care *
Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise
Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program
required, including, but not limited to, American Association of
Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education
in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for
Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in
nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with
the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is
occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse
Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains
required department specific competencies and certifications.
