Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Fargo, ND Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,686 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Fargo, North Dakota, 58103! Job Title: RN - PACU/Recovery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 630-1700, 700-1730, 0730-1800, 0800-1830, 0830-1900 (or until last patient leaves) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: Experience with orthopedic surgical services and ECT recovery Description: The position involves providing care after anesthesia and ensuring patient safety. Candidates will be responsible for conducting head-to-toe assessments of patients. Familiarity with nasal/oral airways and airway emergencies is required. Experience in placing Foley catheters or straight catheters is necessary. Candidates must be knowledgeable in cardiac rhythms and interpretations. The role includes the administration of IV narcotics and monitoring. Candidates will also be required to administer procedural sedation for nerve block procedures. The unit employs EPIC charting and utilizes an Omnicell medication dispensing machine. Additional equipment includes bladder scanners and Philips cardiac monitors. Shifts consist of four 10-hour shifts during the week. There are no weekend or holiday shifts required. There is no on-call duty associated with this position. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1-2 patients in PACU and 2-3 patients in recovery care. Surgical scrubs will be provided and laundered by the facility. Training and support are available based on the RN's experience and need for assistance.
