Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatric Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Med-Surg / Telemetry / Pediatrics RN Location: Devils Lake, ND Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Days & Nights ?? Hours: 36 hrs/week Contract: 13 Weeks Job Overview Seeking a versatile Med-Surg / Tele / Peds RN for a 25-bed rural hospital caring for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. The unit does not have an ICU but may manage telemetry or ICU-acuity patients on the floor. Nurses will not be asked to work outside their scope of practice. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - Minimum 1 year RN experience - Med-Surg, Telemetry, AND Pediatrics experience required - Strong telemetry interpretation skills - Comfortable titrating basic cardiac & medical drips Certifications (ALL REQUIRED) - BLS - ACLS - PALS Unit Details - 25 beds (average census 12–14) - Ratios: - Days: 1:4–5 - Nights: 1:5–6 - Critical patients: 1:1–2 - CNAs available (1:12) - RT support (BiPAP, vents, HFNC, bubble CPAP) Common Drips - Insulin, Lasix, Cardizem, Heparin - Electrolytes, Albumin, Blood products Schedule - 7a–7p / 7p–7a - Rotating days & nights - Weekends: Minimum 2 of every 6 - Holidays required (RTO considered if submitted upfront) Floating - May assist other departments as needed (within scope) Additional Requirements - 50-mile radius rule - Cannot be employed with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity - RTO max 7 days per contract (must be upfront) Specialty Healthcare – Nursing (RN) Department: Med-Surg / Telemetry / Pediatrics About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
