Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Fargo, ND Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,524 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Fargo, North Dakota, 58104! Job Title: CVICU/IMC Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Day/Night Rotate Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience within a 200 bed, level 1 trauma hospital. License: ND or compact state RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of experience managing critically ill patients in an ICU setting. Experience titrating vasopressor drips. EPIC experience. Description: The candidate will be responsible for the management of 1-3 critically ill patients. Patient populations include critically ill neuro, cardiac, CT surgery, trauma, medical, and surgical patients. The ability to manage vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, inotropics, antiarrhythmics, and other titratable drips is essential. Assist with bedside procedures including RSI, EVD placement, tracheostomy, line placement, and other diagnostic tests. Experience with equipment utilized in the unit is required, including EPIC EMR, automated dispensing cabinets, IV pumps, and patient monitoring systems. The unit consists of 32 beds. The nurse to patient ratio is 1 nurse to 2 patients. Scheduling includes 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and holiday. Travelers may need to float to other critical care departments as required. Additionally, there may be a possibility to float to med-surg units as needed. The candidate will receive a total of 32 hours of orientation during the first week of the assignment. It is required to note if the candidate has ever worked for the organization previously. If there was previous employment, there must be a minimum of a 6-month gap prior to the submission date. The cancellation policy allows for client cancellation of up to 12 hours every 13 weeks.
