Job Description:
Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a dedicated and
knowledgeable RN Long Term Care/Infection Control Nurse to join our
team. This role is critical in our mission to deliver top-quality
care while focusing on infection prevention and control within our
long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a

improving holistic health and wellness outcomes. By joining our

Implement and oversee infection control protocols within the
facility. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on hygiene
and infection control practices. Participate in patient care
planning and implementation in long-term care settings. Monitor
patient health and report any infection outbreaks. Coordinate with
healthcare professionals to ensure adherence to state and federal
regulations. Manage records of incidents and outbreaks efficiently,
ensuring transparency and compliance. Support a safe and clean
environment by enforcing institution-wide cleanliness standards.
In-depth knowledge of infection control procedures and guidelines
Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Ability to train and motivate staff
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Proficient in using
healthcare databases and patient management software Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification in Infection
Control (CIC) preferable BLS/CPR certification
