Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Assistant to join our team, dedicated to providing high-quality care in underserved communities. This role is vital in managing medication therapies and assisting in daily healthcare operations to ensure holistic health outcomes for our patients. As a Certified Medication Assistant, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses to administer medications and treatments, adhering strictly to regulatory requirements and center protocols. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Observe patients, recording any relevant information to aid in patient care. Verify identity of patient receiving medication and document all procedures accurately. Monitor patient's well-being and report any clinical changes, reactions, or errors to the supervising nurse. Maintain accurate security of medication supply. Attend and participate in staff meetings geared towards improving health outcomes and operational policies. Proficient in pharmacology and proper medication administration techniques. Strong organizational skills and diligence in handling delicate procedures. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction. Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
