Job Description:
Join our committed team at Good Samaritan Health Center as a
Certified Medication Assistant, dedicated to providing top-tier
medical support to our community's most underserved individuals. In
this vital role, you will be an integral part of our mission to
enhance holistic health outcomes by safely administering
medications and assisting with daily healthcare needs under the
supervision of registered nurses and doctors. This position
requires meticulous attention to detail, a compassionate approach
to patient care, and strict adherence to healthcare regulations and
standards. Administer prescribed medications to patients and
maintain related medical records under nurse or physician
supervision. Verify patient information and confirm that
appropriate drug dosage is administered at the prescribed times.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications and report
any complications immediately. Assist in the daily management of
medication supplies and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Provide basic patient care under RN supervision, including taking
vital signs, and assisting in the patient's daily activities when
necessary. Attend team meetings and contribute to patient care
plans, promoting a holistic approach to health. Educate patients
and families on proper medication management and health practices.
Proficiency in managing multiple medication regimens Strong
