Job Description Our client in western Massachusetts is seeking
an Ultrasound Technician that to join their growing imaging team.
Will perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring
independent judgment and ingenuity. Enjoy a full-time permanent

obtain & ARDMS or ARRT(S) certified. Client will move fast. Sign-on
Bonus! Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technician: Must be
proficient in Abdominal, Pelvic, and Obstetrical, dvt studies of
arms and legs and obtaining images using portable equipment.
Knowledgeable in sterile technique and setting up sterile trays;
practices infection control and body substance isolation per OSHA
standards. Capable of functioning independently and proficiently in
a high-stress, work-intensive environment, including moving and
lifting patients and equipment. Able to stand/walk for up to 6
hours per 8-hour shift and lift up to 100 lbs intermittently
throughout the shift. Skilled in operating and troubleshooting
PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems; attends mandatory education
and maintains department competencies. Demonstrates proper patient
care according to departmental and hospital policies, ensuring
patient confidentiality and complying with safety standards.
Minimum Requirements for the Ultrasound Tech position: Graduation
from an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography school ARDMS/ARRT(S)
