Sanford Health, a leading health system spanning multiple states with a comprehensive range of medical facilities from clinics and hospitals to senior living facilities, is seeking a dedicated Therapy Aide to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting our therapists to deliver effective patient care and ensure smooth operation of the therapy department. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing treatment areas, maintaining equipment, and facilitating patient mobility, among other duties. As a Therapy Aide, your contribution will make a direct impact on patient recovery and wellbeing. Prepare and maintain treatment areas for therapy. Assist therapists in the delivery of patient treatments. Transport patients to and from treatment areas as necessary. Clean and organize equipment after therapy sessions. Stock and manage therapy supplies inventory. Record and report patient progress to therapy staff. Understanding of basic patient care and hygiene standards. Ability to follow therapies and treatment protocols. Good physical stamina and mobility. Excellent organizational skills. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and therapy team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CPR certification is preferred. Completion of a Therapy Aide training program is advantageous.
