Facility: This facility is a 5-star CMS hospital for Quality with a 132-bed tertiary hospital featuring all private rooms. It's a Level II Trauma Center with one convenient location for both clinic and hospital services. Opportunity: General Surgeon - Surgical Critical Care (SCC) Certified Join a growing practice that will soon include 6 surgeons, 3 General Surgery NPs, and 1 Wound Care NP in a full spectrum general surgery environment. Job Details: - Full spectrum general surgery practice including laparoscopic, robotic, trauma, breast, vascular and colorectal procedures - NPs assist in the OR, provide post-op care, and round in the hospital - Planning to transition to acute care surgery service for day call, possible 2 weeks of ACS coverage - Opportunity for dedicated critical care time - Opportunity to become Trauma Medical Director - Requirements include Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Surgical Critical Care, BC/BE General Surgery, and ATLS - Benefits include malpractice coverage, CME allowance, and relocation package - Vacation and CME to be determined if ACS model is implemented Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses and quality incentives.
