As a CDL-A OTR Truck Driver at Marvin, you will be integral to our mission of delivering our premium windows and doors across the nation. While transporting products that enhance living spaces, you'll be not just a driver but a key member of our logistic operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our unique shipments. Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck over long distances to deliver our goods on time, which includes effective management of delivery schedules and routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and compliance with DOT regulations. Accurately maintain electronic logs of working hours or of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Coordinate with the logistics team to track deliveries and troubleshoot any issues, ensuring an efficient transportation process. Manage all necessary documentation required for freight transport and ensure correct paperwork accompanies each shipment. Proven ability to navigate various electronic log systems and GPS-enabled devices. Strong time management and punctuality. Excellent physical condition and stamina necessary for long hauls. Good communication skills to interact with clients, dispatchers, and management effectively.
