Red River Commodities is looking for a people focused and growth minded individual to join our Human Resources team as a Sr. Human Resources Manager. Summary:The Sr. Human Resource Manager will lead and direct all functions of payroll, benefits, performance management, workforce planning and employee relations portion of the Human Resources department. Additionally, this individual will provide guidance to employee engagement strategies as well as evaluating, planning, and implementing policies and changes that continue to modernize how we support the people of our organization. This individual will report directly to the Director of Human Resources. Key Responsibilities:Partners with the HR Director and organizational leaders to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.Participates in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a strategic partner, but particularly from the perspective of the impact on people.Contributes and maintains new programs/strategies and regulatory action as those items affect the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the people resources of the organization.Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.Act as a resource to all leaders while navigating through employee concerns involving the leaders throughout the organization.Develops and recommends appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of the organization. Included in this area would be programs for employee relations, affirmative action, sexual harassment, employee complaints, external education and career development, among others.Provides support and leadership to HR staff, Payroll Supervisor, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Performs other duties as assigned.Education/ Experience:A minimum of five years of progressive human resource experienceBachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS systems.
