Job Description Job Description Located in Grand Forks, ND Salary: $20 Manufacturing Prep Technician Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Prep Technician to support multiple areas of our production process. In this role, you will assist with material preparation, product assembly, and operational testing based on daily project needs. This position is integral to ensuring quality and efficiency in our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and stage materials for welding personnel and assembly teams. - Assemble products according to design specifications and assembly drawings. - Conduct setup and operational testing as required. - Safely move components and materials using team lifts, forklifts, and overhead cranes. - Perform cutting, drilling, and other material preparation tasks. - Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines. - Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations. Basic Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of education or relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment. - Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and production equipment. - Ability to read and interpret general and assembly drawings. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience operating a forklift. Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. - Ability to stand and be active for the full duration of a scheduled shift.
