Happy Customers!This position provides specialized consultative services to Relationship Managers and plan sponsors in order to design and effectively implement basic level retirement plans in accordance with ERISA requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, working with plan sponsors to determine plan document requirements, implementation of administrative service agreement (ASA), development of educational plans for participants and assisting plan sponsors with compliance requirements. This position proactively identifies and capitalizes on business development opportunities by expanding customer account relationships through the sale and/or referral of additional products and services to increase fee based income while ensuring fiduciary responsibilities remain uncompromised. This position will cross-sell other bank products and provide referrals to other areas of the bank as appropriate. Adherence to Bell Bank Wealth Management Division Service Level Standards is required.Primary Duties:Provide assistance to Relationship Managers (RM) in a limited capacity as outlined below:Responsibilities Related to Plan Sponsor Service:--- Assist the RM in plan sponsor communications as requested by RM.--- Review and complete plan document/ASA/other governing document changes as submitted by RM.--- Ensure plan documents/ASA/other governing instruments are kept current and communicated to Newport Group.--- Ensure documentation of any one-offs that exist are reflected in the plan file and obtain approval of the SVP of the Retirement Department prior to implementation of any new one-offs.--- Preparation and/or distribution of plan sponsor and /or participant communications that are per plan one-offs rather than mass communications.--- Provide applicable notices and disclosures to RM for plan sponsors that are one-offs by plan.--- Provide Newport Group with applicable information regarding change(s) for assigned plans that affect the Adoption Agreement, ASA and/or other administrative changes.--- Communicate newly eligible participants to RM and plan sponsor, where applicable.--- Work in coordination with RPS and Newport Group to monitor and administer past due loans for reporting to the Trust Administrative Committee (TAC).--- In conjunction with the assigned RM, coordinate of new account opening and closing account process with Newport Group.--- Perform initial and annual administrative review on assigned plans and coordinate with assigned RSS for their resolution of exceptions and RM for final review.--- Distribute year-end compliance questionnaire, census, etc., to plan sponsors.--- Prepare Administrative Service Agreements in accordance with the established process.--- Monitor monthly loan default report and take action as necessary.--- Management and resolution of Newport Group Footprint tickets.--- Assist in fulfillment of plan sponsor requests.Responsibilities Related to Participant Service:--- Assist with directing participant inquiries to proper channels.--- Participant walk-in meetings.--- Take calls not appropriate for the Call Center or plan sponsor.Responsibilities Related to Plan Technical Requirements:--- Review completed compliance testing package with RM as available.--- Review year-end documentation submitted by the plan sponsor and consult with the plan sponsor regarding deficiencies.--- Submit completed questionnaire and census data to Newport Group and consult with the plan sponsor regarding any deficiencies on census noted by Newport Group.--- Review and coordinate with plan sponsor, RM, and Newport Group and/or external auditor, as applicable, on Audit requests and questions with Newport Group for resolution.--- Review of QDROs and other escalated technical matters as they arise in plan administration with RM and SVP.--- Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.--- Know and practice LOCBUTN, our Golden Rules, and Bell Bank Customer Service Standards.--- Know, understand, and live the company values and bottom line.--- Perform other duties as assigned.Job Skills Required:* Minimum 2-5 years of relationship management, related sales, marketing or portfolio management experience.* Strong retirement industry knowledge, proven success in relationship building.* Extensive ERISA knowledge.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Strong understanding of financial markets will be expected as experience is gained.* Demonstrate a broad understanding of the financial markets and the ERISA environment.* Commitment to obtaining one of the following designations:o Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA),o Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP), oro Certified Financial Planner (CFP)* Demonstrate ability to navigate DST Trac system in order to advise plan participants and plan sponsors on functionality and resolve inquiries as needed.Apply online today!recblid 9am814iwfrrkxrzimkldw6raonknfw
