Get paid weekly in this manufacturing role in the Fosston area! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with an established company in Fosston, MN for this exciting employment opportunity. We are seeking candidates for Mechanical Assembler positions on 1st shift. Hours are 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday - Thursday. Friday -7am 3pm. Compensation for these temp-to-hire roles is $18.00 per hour. They manufacture a variety of high-quality attachments with top-grade, USA steel in their state-of-the-art facility in Fosston. What a Mechanical Assembler will do:

• Weld and tack metal parts together using hand welding equipment
• Position and secure work-pieces using hoist and hand tools, assembles in jigs or fixtures
• Examine work-pieces for defects and ensures conformance with specifications
• Chip or grind off excess weld, slag or spatter
• Use various hand tools to assemble component parts into finished products and place various finished product decals according to production manual specifications
• Fasten and wrap products using hand tools
• Record product and packaging information on specified forms and records
• Use powder coat painting system to complete finished product What you need to be a Mechanical Assembler:
  • Qualified candidates should be mechanically inclined and know how to turn wrenches
  • Experience and ability to follow schematics
  • Willingness to cross-train in other departments
