Job Overview









The Groundskeeper is responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding the building, along with general janitorial and facility maintenance duties as assigned. In addition, the Groundskeeper will assist the Tool Cage Controller as needed in maintaining an adequate inventory for all production machine parts, building supplies, production line tools and may assist in picking up emergency supplies as needed.













Highlights of your role

• Clean grounds and remove litter.
• Ensure public passageways are free of snow and ice.
• Maintain lawns and landscapes around the Marvin property.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM's) and inspections assigned through EAM including outside fire system control valves, and performs weekly and monthly fire system inspections, eye wash stations and fire extinguishers.
• Keep the dock doors and locks clear and free of ice buildup and trash.
• Responsible for parking lot maintenance including painting designated parking lines and sign maintenance.
• Utilize Enterprise Asset Mgmt software EAM (7i) and ICIM to assist the Tool Cage Controller in maintaining adequate inventory for all production machine parts, building supplies, production line tools, and will pick up emergency supplies when needed.
• Maintain order, cleanliness, and accuracy of the maintenance replacement part warehouse "cage" and hazardous material room.
• Ensure availability, accuracy, and timelines of any applicable replacement part orders.

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One year certificate from college or technical school or three to six month related experience and/or training preferred
