Job Description:
A company is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to
support the New York State Office for People with Developmental
Disabilities (OPWDD).
Key Responsibilities
Review assessments completed by field assessors for accuracy and
compliance
Provide training and mentorship to staff, including facilitating
monthly in-person training sessions
Develop and maintain reports based on audit findings and implement
corrective action plans
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of professional
experience, or equivalent education and experience
1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and
developmental disabilities (I/DD)
1 year of experience in a compliance or quality assurance role
within health or human services
Familiarity with QMS processes and ISO 9001 standards
Experience in developing work instructions and training staff
