Consulting Group is seeking a licensed behavioral health
professional to serve as a School-Based Child and Youth Military
Family Life Counselor (MFLC) in Grand Forks, ND. This role supports
the mental and emotional well-being of children from military
families in a school setting.You will work directly with students,
parents, educators, and installation leadership to deliver
short-term, non-medical counseling and promote behavioral wellness
across the school community.What Youll DoProvide in-person,
solution-focused counseling to children of active-duty service
membersConduct individual, group, and classroom-based behavioral
health supportConsult with parents, teachers, and school staff on
behavioral issues and student well-beingFacilitate training and
wellness presentations on stress, transitions, grief, and
resilienceSupport youth programs, summer camps, and other on-demand
assignments as neededCollaborate with school officials and military
leadership to ensure service delivery aligns with program goals and
community needsMaintain compliance with DoD standards and school
policies while upholding strict confidentialitySchedule & Site
DetailsOnsite at a K12 school near Grand Forks Air Force
BaseSchedule aligned with the school day and academic calendarMay
include support for youth programs or special events as
neededRequirementsMasters degree in a behavioral health field
(e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology)Active, unrestricted
clinical license in any U.S. state:LCSW / LICSWLPCLMFTLCPCLMHCNot
eligible: LMSW, LADC, associate-level, or supervised licensesPrior
experience in school-based or youth-focused behavioral health
settingsStrong interpersonal skills and comfort working with
children, adolescents, and adultsUnderstanding of military culture
and family dynamicsU.S. citizenship and fluency in EnglishMust be
able to pass a federal background investigation and any
installation-specific suitability checksDesired
QualificationsPrevious experience in MFLC or other military family
support programsFamiliarity with school systems and educational
frameworksProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook,
