Job Description Reliability Technician-Enderlin, NDThis is a
full time, hourly position Position Summary:
TheReliabilityTechnicianutilizes predictive technologies to collect
condition data for early detection of machine faults.
The Technician must have a strong safety culture and commitment to
safety, self-motivated, and be able to work alone. This person
willuse/apply PM and PdM technologies to organize, lubricate and
analyze data collected and comparehistorical data to determine the
severity of the equipment faults found. Notify operations and
maintenance colleagues of equipment deficiencies thru the CMMS so
that the team can affectively plan schedule and repair. The
Reliability Technician will work closely with a Predictive Analyst
to implement the predictive program and is responsible for its
daily execution.
Job Responsibilities:
Adhere to all plant safety and operating guidelines. Collect
equipment condition data to prevent unplanned failures.
Conduct routine predictive maintenance (PM's) such as maintaining
equipment fluid levels, ensure lubrication of key components, and
monitor equipment health
Apply predictive techniques to each asset as outlined by the
Strategy to Maintain Document. Utilize predictive technologies
including but not limited to vibration, thermal imaging (IR), and
ultrasonic emission (UE). Develop lubrication routes and determine
the grease quantity and frequency referencing the "Noria Grease
Volume and Frequency Calculator" Conduct periodic testing of steam
traps using IR and UE Perform trouble shooting using predictive
tools Implementation and skills development of precision
maintenance tools. Work in conjunction with Maintenance Engineers
and Reliability Engineers perform equipment modifications to
enhance the lubrication, vibration and PM / PdM programs.
Understands their role in food safety and quality systems, actively
participates in food safety efforts and ensures all activities
conform to good manufacturing practices. Responsible for utilizing
the Performance Excellence process.
Support Reliability Engineers with Root Cause Analysis projects and
Maintenance Engineers in the development of PM's and procedures Job
Requirements:
Two-year technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Technology is preferred or equivalent experience Training and/or
experience in industrial electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and
hydraulic applications. Training and/or experience in process
controls and instrumentation applications (preferred). Training
and/or experience in Predictive Maintenance Technologies. Detailed
understanding of Food Manufacturing Plant Operation and
