Position Summary:The Entry Level Production Position will wash parts to remove coolant, oil or other material that would interfere with painting or other production operations. The Production worker will maintain correct inventories through data entered in the business system, visually inspect parts, assemble product and transport baskets of parts/units to staging or finished goods areas. ResponsibilitiesEntry Level Production Position Job Responsibilities:Uses a parts washer to de-grease metal partsUses material handling equipment including upright forklift to transport finished loadsAssembles required units following standard assembly proceduresPerforms quality checks per standard procedures and specificationsReads and comprehends blueprints and assembly drawingsExhibits and performs basic personal computer functionsWork is heavy and requires regular lifting of parts 15 - 30 lbs., with some parts up to 50 lbsOther duties as assignedQualificationsEntry Level Production Position Qualifications:A high school diploma, or equivalent (GED), is desired but not required. Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
