Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacy
Technician.
Key Responsibilities
Handle in-bound calls from providers, pharmacies, and members,
providing assistance through the prior authorization process
Maintain accurate documentation of reviews, approvals, and
denials
Assist with additional duties such as outbound calls and processing
prior authorizations received via fax and portal requests
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a high-volume
call center, preferably in healthcare or social services
At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in an
administrative support role
Advanced computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet
utilization
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required; an Associate or
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Equivalent years of work experience may substitute for formal
education if degrees are not held
