Non-certified techs will start at $24/hour, certified techs will start at $25.50/hour and increase based on years of applicable work experience. Department Details Schedule: 6:30am-3pm, Monday-Friday, with call. We are a 16 bed OR on two floors, providing care for adult and pediatric surgical patients. We support surgical cases within a wide range of surgical specialties including: General, Trauma, Bariatrics, Urology, Gynecology, Robotics, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Ear-Nose-Throat, Oral, Pediatric, Neuro, Peripheral Vascular and Pediatric and Adult Orthopedic Trauma. New grad surg techs are encouraged to apply with or without certification! Job Summary Surgical technologist are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients. What you will do: · Provide assistance to the surgeon during surgical procedures, including preparing and organizing operating room instruments and supplies. · Anticipate the surgeons needs during a procedure. Qualifications Position requirements: · A graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program. · Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at the time employment begins. · National certification preferred, but not required.
